Vacations

Life is wonderful, but never more wonderful than when you are enjoying time with those you love. Over this summer, my family and I had the pleasure of a few days at the beach on holiday. It was a great time. The kids laughed. They played. They swam. They built a sand castle. They wanted to stay longer. . . I wanted to stay longer. I want to go back already!!

Since the vacation was so short, this blog will be short as well. I leave only a picture of one of God's most beautiful creatures (no not a pic of me - silly billies)...

Ode to Fathers...

Today on the bench, I have been working on my father's birthday gift. Every year on his birthday, I make him two videos from various songs. Usually one sappy one and then a silly one, but this year they are both kind of sappy.

The songs this year are Daddy's Hands by Holly Dunn and Erik's Opera by Omar Crook. Erik's Opera is from the Happy Feet Two movie. I heard this song and knew right away it was going to be on Dad's DVD this year. It is just a cute song.

Of course, some of the lyrics include being a penguin... So, that's gonna be funny. But I have to say, the end lines... My Hero, My Father! So awesome!!!

Love my Dad. He is special even when we argue. Well, I better get back to those songs, instead of writing here.
